Burgos 5a Relics...

Throughout the year in the daily prayer of the church I am used to the commemoration of saints great and small, known or often unknown. Many of them from years ago, and places other than England. There are of course many, many English saints and it was a surprise to spot a couple of relics here from the homeland. Edward the Confessor, former patron saint of England and St Thomas a Becket (St Thomas of Canterbury) among the collection. There was a  whole Chapel full. Of course it's not the bones, clothes, artefacts and such which are important it is the holiness or the holy to which they point. The values of God which we recall as we look at them and reflect on the lives they were once a part of on earth.
I wonder what people will think of when they hold a picture of you or I years after we are gone too?
